PGH Women's Beer Coven, Saturday, March 25th

In honor of Women's Month, Coven Brewing is hosting a professional development gathering. The women of Pittsburgh’s craft beer community have an incredible wealth of knowledge and hopefully, this can be an opportunity to learn from each other, meet new people, and build each other up. The morning will feature short presentations on packaging quality controls, taproom hospitality, and specialty brewing topics from some experienced women in our local beer scene. All women and non-binary people are welcome. We hope women professionals and aspiring professionals will join us! Details and a tentative schedule:

  • 9:00 am arrivals + potluck breakfast

  • 9:30 am welcome 

  • 9:50 am Amy Loebig, Taproom Lead at Dancing Gnome on taproom hospitality

  • 10:35 am Alison Zavacky, Packaging Manager at East End Brewing on packaging quality controls

  • 11:15 am Caiti Sullivan, Head Brewer at Coven Brewing on brewing with tea

  • 12:00 pm presentations conclude, brewhouse hangout (Coven Brewing opens at 1 pm)
